Freddie's summer 24/25
As summer wraps up, we wanted to take a moment to look back on the great season we had here at Freddie’s eatery at Tūroa. Located at the base of the Tūroa Ski Area, our restaurant has been the perfect pit stop for anyone exploring the central North Island.
This summer, we had a blast hosting two fantastic Christmas parties with live music that really set the mood for some festive fun. We also celebrated a bunch of private birthday functions, making each one special and unique. Our art classes were another hit, blending creativity with tasty snacks all while surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
We were excited to see so many visitors this season, including car clubs and the 100’s of cyclists tackling the scenic Ohakune Mountain Road, part of Ngā Ara Tūhono (Mountains to Sea) one of New Zealand's ‘Great rides’.
